Well
2010 Barastoc show officially started today, thanks to
Fiona Mardling & Allan Bruno of taking the step to
introduce the pony dressage into such a prestige arena,
that being the Barastoc Horse of the Year show.
Country
Park Animal Herbs quickly offered full sponsorship of
this event, Carol Dawson a keen dressage rider herself
was just as keen to see such an event come to light. So
with the sponsorship of Country Park and after all the
hard work by the committee, today saw the very first
running of pony dressage at Barastoc.
With
over 150 riders, the Country Park Animal Herbs Pony Dressage
Championships started at such a
civilized time around noon and running through the
evening. As normal the pony dressage people are always
appreciative of events and all were seen to be enjoying themselves.
Perfect weather, [like you could not have ordered weather
like this] made the the task just that much more fun and
there were some stunning ponies strutting out before the
judges on the day.
