This would have to be one of the most pleasant shows to attend for competitor and spectators alike. Every judge that has been invited across have thoroughly enjoyed their stay as well as the event. Judges for this years show are Cherie Mills NSW, Fiona Mardling Vic, Sandy Jamieson WA, and once again the event was held at the Royal Hobart Showgrounds.

This year the show was very fortunate to have Hygain join as a major sponsor of the event, Hygain was over generous in supplying wonderful Hygain prizes to all the winners of the course of the weekend.

Newcomer classes have to be one the favourite sections these days, as it is always exciting to see new faces on the scene.

Sadly the numbers in the pony section were very light on but taking nothing away from the winner Wynton Serenade owned by  Danielle Zeiser who was a lovely pony and deserved the sash, Newcomer Galloway was Braefield Park Silk Cottage - Hannah Wright, a bright, elegant type who certainly covered some ground and runner up was Rathowen Beyond Blue owned by Penny Woods.

The Newcomer Hack section was the strongest in exhibit numbers and a very interesting class with some very neat stock out there but is was the very bright Sugo - Josh Clarke who won the sash, and runner up was Alluring Lady - Christie Wynwood. The overall Newcomer exhibit of the year was Sugo.
