This year saw the judging of the 39th Victorian Arabian
classic with many new committee members at the helm and
a change of date the show was still as popular as ever.
Major sponsors for this years show were many and all
were looked after well with VIP treatment. Next year
will mark the 40th Anniversary of the classic and plans
are already underway to make it bigger and better than
ever.
The
judges this year were Ted Carson, Mark Kenzig, Adam
King, Gudrum Martini and Shelly Brodie, by
far the most popular win of the weekend was the sashing

Pam Morris of Avondale stud and shown by Jayne Bell
Chambers stole the spot light, this little man was full
of show and enjoyed every moment out in the ring no
wonder given his breeding, Cruise is by Crave FF (2007
Supreme Male VIC Classic) out of Avondale Grace (three
time Classic supreme winner) this little man is one to
watch.
The
supreme Anglo Arabian once again went to the Naaman
Truly Magic owned by Naaman stud .Naaman stud
consistently produce beautiful Anglo Arabians and Truly
Magic is another fine example. The
judging continued on Saturday night with the
Commemorative awards amongst these was the Mike
Cheeseman award won by Naaman Georgio and Sherena
Brillanti and the Shiranna Award for partbreds won by
Amakis De Ja Vu.
The

in quality, the
supreme ridden exhibit was Electric Dreams [pictured
above] owned by
Serenity Park and beautifully ridden by Clint Bilson.
The champion ridden novice derivative was Keira Park
Cascade ridden by Chanelle Hunter, a super win for a
pony who has been broken in
for less than a month. Champion ridden derivative ridden
by an amateur owner rider was Anngrae so Dazzling and
