The Welsh National Show once again held at Tatura Park in Victoria was host to exhibits from most states. With numbers increasing each year this show is fast becoming  a true show case of the welsh breed.

This years judges were Gill Simpson form the Wortley stud in the UK and Margaret Edwards from the Nefydd stud also in the UK.

Major winners:

National Champion led part bred was Ascot studs Ascot Elizabeth Arden.

National champion led Gelding  Mark Bullen’s Junior gelding Imperial Pascal.

Supreme champion section B  Mark Bullen’s two year old filly Imperial Jesselynn.

Supreme Champion section C  Terisa Townsend’s Cataraqui  Hasufel.

Supreme cob Vivien Hicks  LLangollen Midnight Express.

Best welsh in hand  Vivien Hicks LLangollen Midnight Express.

National champion Ridden pure Bred  was  Lykanarro Rockafella exhibited by the Moloney Family.

Winner of the National Leading Rein pony went to the Lee families Somerfield Socialite.

Champion ridden part bred Kaye Thomsons Bremalla My Fair Lady.
