Scoring for each height class at this show is marked by both judges separately for each individual animal in areas of conformation, movement and type. Each judges score is totalled up to determine a total score and placing for each foal. Championships, Supreme's & Groups are judged jointly by both judges and in consultation to find their eventual winners.

Entries were again attracted from interstate competitors. Quality prevailed at the show which was a little down in number compared to catalogued entries this year, due to many exhibitors having foals with colds and unable to bring them on actual competition day.  This was a little dissapointing, however with May being cold in Victoria it is understandable and responsible not to exhibit an unwell foal.

The major winners:

Champion Riding Pony Colt or Gelding Foal was Naaman Romeo sired by Myscal Encore and bred by Robyn Parker with Reserve Champion awarded to Dunelm Look A Like sired by Dainhill Ocatave, bred and exhibited by Marcia Adams.

10 Year Anniversary of the RP Gala Events Inc Show for Registered Riding Pony Foals was held at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre on May 23rd. The indoor was beautifully decorated with pink and blue balloons, tablecloths and party decorations and it certainly looked a great for the birthday celebrations. The prizes were all sponsored by generous supporters of the show, with most in attendance to have their photographs taken with the prize winning foals. Some sponsors also had trade stands on the day which were well supported by keen shoppers.

Pony breeder, Mr Graeme Cameron of the Roseagle Riding Pony Stud in Victoria was one of the judges and show rider, Ms Leanne Donahue from South Australia, the second officiating judge for the day.
