The Yarra valley foal show was blessed by the weather gods this year with blue skies’ and a very pleasant temperature. With good exhibit numbers and another smoothly run foal show was under way.  above:Ablue Moons Virtuoso

This year well known and respected welsh breeder and showie Megan Howe from the Nawarrah Park stud judged in ring one and equally respected Sally Bales from the Nilton Stud judged in ring two.

Megan started the day by awarding Elargee Braveheart with champion welsh A foal. Braveheart is the first foal on the ground by the Elargee studs imported  Friars Tearaway (IMP)  the Grey family could not be any happier with his first foal and eagerly await next season’s babies.

Champion welsh B foal went to Crestwood Somerset  this spunky little filly by Miranda Spy Catcher put her best foot forward to take the championship over Tooravale Charisma another nice filly.
