Cobs numbers were well up from last year, Fenella Barker of Rivington Stud was thrilled when her magnificent 5yr old Section D Cob stallion Pen-nant Primetime was awarded Supreme Welsh Cob exhibit at his first show. Primetime was bred by her aunt Tabby and sold as a youngster, when he came on the market earlier this year he was bought for Fenella while she was in Wales as WPCSA Young Ambassador. A surprise present from her mother and grandmother on her arrival home. Primetime also debuted under saddle gaining a Reserve Champion Ridden Stallion not bad for his first time out in company.

Mark Brown had a fantastic show, with his Bucksin Welsh Pony of Cob Type Colt, Indi Pavarotti, winning Best Welsh Pony of Cob Type and Supreme Welsh Pony of Cob Type.  He then went on to be awarded Best Welsh in Hand Exhibit and the Peter Lowe Trophy for Supreme Youngstock Exhibit against winners of the Best Youngstock award in each Section.
