Conditions
of Entry
•All riders and owners must be current
financial members of EA or affiliated
Breed Society at the time of entry
and on the day of the show or have taken
up the Barastoc Insurance option.
Refer Section 7 in Conditions of entry.
• Ponies MUST NOT exceed 149cm with
shoes or 148cm without shoes.
• Ponies must be 4 years or over on 1st
August 2012
• Stallions are eligible
• The competition has three phases:
Dressage:
A specially designed test to show the
pony’s potential to become a dressage
pony. The test may be called. 50 points

Jumping:
To show the horse’s ability over fences,
style, talent and capability over simple
fences. 50 points
In hand:
The pony will be judged for its type,
soundness and movement for performance
purposes. 50 points.
The scores will be added for a total of
150 points and the highest score will be
the winner in each section. In the case
of a count back, jumping, dressage and
in hand will be used to separate in that
order.
DRESSAGE FINAL ON FRIDAY AM. The
ponies with the top four dressage scores
from each section will go forward to a
Dressage Final on Friday morning - 12
ponies in all. No substitutions. The
Final will be Novice 2B Test.
Prizes:
• Class Winners will receive a
Championship Sash.
• 2nd – 6th placing inclusive will
receive a Sash.
• Overall Champion will receive an
embroidered rug.
• Highest placed non-jumping pony will
receive a cotton rug.
• Highest Placed Native Pony will
receive a cotton rug.
• The top 12 ponies in dressage phase
will compete at 8am Friday morning for
the Dressage Championship. Sashes to
sixth place, donated by the Australian
Pony Owners and Breeders Association.
