Junior and Young Rider Show Jumping

Friday 17th February 2012

  • Riders must be current financial members of the EA. Horses are not required to be registered

  • Block Entry of $40 for two events in a class

  • Horse may only enter in one Height.  Riders may enter heights if using different horses.

  • Each class consists of two events.  Event 1 – AM7, Event 2 – Championship – AM5

  • Prize Money to & ribbons to 5th placing.

  • The Top four overall placegetters in each height will receive a rosette with a medal also for the Championship in each height.

  • The Highest scoring overall Junior will receive a Garland and rug

  • In the event of a count back situation on the Overall Champion scoring, the rider in the higher height event will be placed first.

  • Junior – up to the calendar year of their eighteenth birthday

  • Young Rider – The calendar year of their sixteenth birthday through to calendar year of their twenty first birthday.

  • Riders must indicate on the entry form which age division they wish to compete in

  • Classes 60cms, 75cms, 90cms, 1.05cms and 1.20cms

Interschools Show Jumping

Saturday 18th February 2012

  • Riders must be current financial members of EA. Horse are not required to be registered

  • You may nominate your School teams riders but these teams must be finalized before the commencement of jumping.

  • Composite teams will be arranged for those riders wishing to participate in the teams section that cannot field a school team.

  • Horses may only enter one height.  Riders may enter multiple heights if using different Horses.

  • Block entry of $35. Each class consists of two events; AM& and a Championship AM5 over the chosen height.

  • AM7: ribbons 1st – 6th placing

  • Championship; Champion Sash, Reserve Sash and 3rd – 6th will receive a single colour sash

  • Overall Champion Rider of each height will receive a rug and medal with rosettes presented to 4th Overall

  • In the event of equality of points in the scoring of the overall height Champion, placings in the Championship event (AM5) will be used to count back.

  • The winning team will receive a garland for each member.

  • Classes 60cms, 75cms,90cms, 1.05cms and 1.20cms
