The Barastoc Horse of the
Year Show is one of the most
prestigious events on the
Australian Equestrian
calendar and provides
competition for a vast array
of horse breeds and types.
All Barastoc Saddle
Championship Classes will be
conducted on Sunday 21st
February.
1. The Trade Fair will be
established in the Centre of
the venue (see the PDF
below).
2. The Trade Fair will
operate as follows:
-
Allocation of sites will
be on a first come first
serve basis, with full
payment of fees. There
will be a maximum of
forty eight (48) sites
available.
-
Sites 1 48 inclusive
will have three (3)
metre frontages with a
maximum depth of five
(5) metres. Larger sites
can be obtained, however
they must be in
multiples of three (3)
metres (e.g. 6m, 9m,
12m, etc)
3. Traders who have their
own display caravan/vehicle
should apply for end sites
and/or book three sites to
ensure access.
NOTE: A Trade Exhibitor who
does not book sufficient
space for their display will
not be
permitted to operate without
the consent of the Show
Coordinator and the other
Trade
Exhibitors affected. No
refunds will be issued
4. Displays beyond the front
line of a Trade Site must
not exceed 1.5m in width
and/or 1.2m in height.

NOTE: The site fee includes
three (3) seasons admission
tickets and two (2)
complimentary programs. The
Organising Committee will
set aside $50 from each site
sold to place an
advertisement in the Weekly
Times in the week leading up
to the Show. The
advertisement will be used
to promote theTrade Village
participants and the Show.

8. All Trade Fair
participants will be
required to operate from
Friday 19th and
Sunday 21st, between 9.30am
and 4.30pm. Wednesday and
Thursday optional.
Vehicle access to the Trade
Fair will not be provided
after 9.30am or before
4.30pm on each day of the
Show. See note regarding
Traffic Management
Plan for more information.
Access to Sites from 12
noon Wednesday 17th February
9. All participants must
have their own Public
Liability Insurance.
Equestrian
Victoria will not cover and
loss, damage or liability
claim of a participant.
Proof
of Insurance cover must
accompany your application.
10. The Organising Committee
will provide night security
for the venue, but are not
liable for any damage or
missing/stolen goods.
Security for Individual
Trade
Stands will be the
responsibility of the
Operator.
11. All electrical equipment
(leads, power, boards etc.)
must be tested and tagged as
per Australian Standards
12. The Organising Committee
reserves the right to accept
and/or reject any or all
Trade Stand applications, at
its absolute discretion |
