Working Hunter, over 15 hands.

Max Jump Height - 90 cms

Working Hunter, over 14 and not over 15 hands.

Max Jump Height - 80 cms

Working Hunter, over 12.2 and not over 14 hands.

Max Jump Height - 70 cms

Working Hunter, 12.2 hands and under.

Max Jump Height - 60 cms

Conditions of Entry

•All riders and owners must be current financial members of EA at the time of entry and on the day of the show or have taken up the Barastoc Insurance option. Refer Section 7 in Conditions of entry.

• All horses and ponies must be registered with EA, the Australia Pony Stud Book Society or the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Australia.

• Stallions are eligible.

• All riders must wear approved safety helmets.

• This section will be judged outdoors on grass.

Judging:

No change of saddlery is allowed between phases or during a phase. Boots, bandages & protective pads on ponies’ legs or feet are permissible for jumping phase only.

Prizes

Winners: The winner of each class will receive a Champions Sash and a rug.

Reserves: The second placed horse in each class will receive a Reserve Champion Sash

Placegetters: 3rd – 6th placing will receive a sash

No penalty is incurred if the lower pole on the same vertical plane is lowered. If a pony / horse jumps the incorrect fence it will be eliminated. Ponies / horses displaying continued disobedience or leaving the ring, whether the rider is mounted or dismounted will be eliminated. Jumping Phase will be taken first, any pony / horse eliminated or disqualified will not be required again.
