Thursday 16th February 2012 All horses (classes 52 & 53) must be registered with EA. All horses (classes 54 & 55) must be registered with EA, the Australian Pony Stud Book Society or the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Australia. All riders and owners must be current financial members of EA at the time of entry and on the day of the show. Stallions are eligible This section will be judged outdoors on the grass. Hunting attire is appropriate dress

Clothing in hunter classes.

As these classes have a traditional hunting background, riders MUST wear clothing that would be seen worn by riders fox hunting.

These can be formal or informal, but there are to be no brightly coloured vests, scrunchies or stocks on the riders, in keeping with the traditional picture of a hunter.

Conditions of Entry:

Judging: No change of Saddlery is allowed between phases or during a phase.  Boots, bandages & protective pads on ponies/horses legs or feet are permissible for jumping phase only and can be removed only at the change over position.

No penalty is incurred if the lower pole on the same vertical plane is lowered.

If a pony/horse jumps the incorrect fence it will be eliminated

Ponies/Horses displaying continued disobedience or leaving the ring, whether the rider is mounted or dismounted will be eliminated.

Jumping Phase will be taken first, any pony or horse eliminated or disqualified in this phase are not required to continue to Phase 2

This section will be judged outdoors on the grass
