Marconi Pony Stud
Garfield, Victoria Welsh B, Part Welsh, Riding Ponies Stallions: Weston Park Mercury - Welsh B - Tooravale Picasso - Welsh B “Breeding show quality ponies with type and temperament suitable for children and adults to enjoy” Marconi Stud is a small stud producing between 2 -6 foals per year. Our stock are owned in most states and have been shown very successfully around Australia including Royal Champions and State Breed show Champions both in hand and under saddle. Some of our homebred stars include Marconi Mattisse, Maverick of Marconi, Fantasia of Marconi, Marconi Madeline, Marconi Aladdin and Marconi Versace to name just a few. Having recently sold our first stallion we are now very much looking forward to the first progeny of our new stallion, Weston Park Mercury, arriving in 2006 and making their mark in the future. Mercury is unshown due to time restraints in his first years and now being a working stallion he will remain at home for the time being. Our up and coming young sire, Tooravale Picasso had his first show season in 2005/6 whilst a yearling and although extremely limited in his outings he gained several prestigious awards including Champion Welsh B entire at Adelaide Royal and Supreme Welsh Section B exhibit at the Autumn Welsh Show (Victoria) amongst many Agricultural show Championships. We are very proud of the ponies we have bred and feel we have even more to look forward to in the future with our next generations from the new boys.

Our junior sire, Ascot Royal Tribute (A.I) (x Keston Tribune U.K) was not to be outdone, also siring the outstanding bay colt, Ascot Royal Signature who was the Champion Riding Pony Colt at the 2006 Riding Pony Foal Show and exported to New Zealand as a future sire for that country. Of his older stock, was Ascot Forever Amber a winner at Adelaide Royal and Supreme Champion Led Exhibit at numerous agricultural shows for owner Bobby Hammet. Another filly, Uhavta Royal Emerald also gained first place in her filly class at 2005 Riding Pony Pageant owned and bred by the Uhavta Stud. Gaylord Of Ascot made a rare show ring appearance at 2006 Melbourne Royal at age 17. He was Res Champion Arabian Pony Stallion or Colt and his 12.2 son, Ascot Toy Maker will make his debut under saddle in Queensland this year. We are expecting 4 foals ourselves this Spring and also look forward to welcoming some lovely visiting show mares to the boys. We look forward to continuing to show the stock by our stallions this season and the 2006 breeding season will be the last time that Ascot Classic Silk (A.I) will be available at public stud. Pennyroyal Stud
Riding Ponies, APSB Riding Ponies, Arabian Riding Ponies, Part Welsh Stallions: Langtree Eye of the Storm - Fairlight Acres Cruize
“ Royal quality show ponies and Galloways” Eye of the Storm is crossing very nicely with the smaller riding ponies as well as TB and Anglo mares to produce exceptional galloways. We are expecting two foals by him this season, one to mature galloway out of a lovely Anglo mare and another to mature big pony out of a beautifully bred Carolina’s Cats Whiskers mare. Our junior sire Fairlight Acres Cruize is a very typey bay colt with the most extravagant movement inherited through his sire Fairlight Acres Kristian (x Rotherwood Acrobat imp). Cruize was shown very successfully as a yearling, winning Supremes at Melbourne Summer Royal, the Victorian Stud Show and Barastoc. We eagerly await his first foals this season out of Janevelyn Royal Tender (full sister to Mirinda Harlequin) and Pennyroyal By Design (Janevelyn Royal Tender x Langtree Eye of the Storm) who is also a supreme winner in hand. A selection of our 2006 foals will be available for sale to discerning show homes. We had an enjoyable show season in 2005/06, with the first Langtree Eye of the Storm progeny out in the ring with some excellent results. Pennyroyal Picture Perfect was Champion Filly at the APSB Stud Show. Our show team for the coming season will consist of two lovely fillies, and we look forward to seeing more Eye of the Storm progeny out and about as well. Recent sales include Pennyroyal Storm Boy, a very pretty galloway gelding who has found a wonderful new home with successful Tasmanian showie Leanne Bell. I have been over to America quite a lot looking at these wonderful little creatures, It has become a life long passion to breed the most perfect little horse. The miniature horses has developed quite considerably in Australia over the years, What I am breeding now is quite different from what I was breeding years ago, That is my aim to keep improving my stock. I stand 4 stallions at my farm; Brewers Major Flashback who won supreme driving horse at this years national show, he has very extravagant movement and was born to drive. Brewers Captivations Dynamite who has won many titles, Including national champion horse at the national show at Tamworth- 2004. Still R Mocha Supreme is a little King supreme son, He is one of Yantaringa Park Little Treasures, and has produced foaled such as MR Credibility who himself has won many titles, another on of his foals was a winner at the national show this season is very refined colt Mochas Extreme Romeo. My latest acquisition is SHF Cinsational Temptation, we are so looking forward to his first babies this season and looking forward to them being in the show ring.
