Yatama Stud Gunnedah
Cleveland Bay Sporthorses
Stallion: Sandgate Reznor
We are a relatively young stud that started from a need to breed horses we could enjoy riding, know was safe to have around children and compete on with success at events from Pony Club to FEI.
We found this stallion through friends and he has small numbers of youngstock, yet to compete, on the ground in 2 other states and is standing his first season in NSW with us. We look forward to seeing some of his progeny out competing in the future.
His full siblings have competed in dressage and other progeny by the same sire have had success at all Olympic disciplines. He sustained a paddock injury as a foal and was unable to be ridden competitively. He passes on his impeccable temperament to his progeny as well as the Cleveland Bay ‘bone’, movement and jumping ability.

"Quality, Temperament, Trainability & Beauty!!! Accept no less"
We are a small stud located at Zeerust (near Shepparton Victoria). It all started when we bred a mare to Gumbanero when he was owned by my good friend Jenny Brittain. The resulting foal was Daydream who went on to be Melb Royal champion warmblood female as a 2yo under the judgement of Mary Hanna. The opportunity then came along for us to purchase Gumbanero and we jumped at the chance, the rest they say is history!
Gumbanero has since sired many Royal Champions and Supremes. He hasn't been shown himself but his progeny are speaking for him in the dressage, showjumping and showing worlds.
His daughter Dreamtime Oprah being the most recent with Champion Open Breeds Female U3yrs at the Summer Royal in 2006. We show Oprah in partnership with David Warde of Bendigo and she is proving to be as successful as we thought she would in the show ring amassing many Champions and Supremes over the last show season.
His huge moving son Dreamtime Valentino has many Champions and Supremes also to his name and he is only rising 3. He started his success at his first show which was the Magic Breed Foal Show in 2005 when he was sashed Supreme Yearling Derivative Exhibit by the well respected judge Adam King of NSW. We have high hopes for Valentino that he will follow in his father's footsteps and be a future sire for Dreamtime Park. Valentino's dam is the Anglo mare Arneesha who in turn is by the legendary Arabian sire El Zayib Hastar.
Jenny Brittain's daughter Kate is showjumping a son of Gumbanero - Gumberaye - and is often seen changing saddles and going from the jumping to the hack ring! ….very successfully I might add
"Team Dreamtime", which consists of my good friends that I show with Val De Santa-ana and Lori Burgess, has a rather large team this year! We have Dreamtime Deeanthi who has been broken in and may come out under saddle with Val, Blaze Of Glory and Rainga Divine with Lori and I have several youngsters to choose from.
Our first show of the coming season is a trip to Adelaide Royal with all Gumbanero progeny -Dreamtime Valentino, Dreamtime Oprah, Dreamtime Vogue and Dreamtime Trumps, a long trip for the babies but great experience.
If you happen to see us at a show, feel free to come and say hi ! Cheers Julie Conti phone: 03 5829 8325 or 0412 970033
