Friday events....
Friday, and this was a heavy schedule with all outdoor arenas on the go
and also the indoor a buzz, the humidity and heat was a real shock to
the system for horses and people, normally weather this time of
year is a lot cooler and tonight we were all looking at around 9pm
finish! as this is the

Matthew Dowsley riding
the magical chestnut mare Cinderella won this with the score of 70.77%,
such a powerful and at times breath taking duo, Cinderella won her way
into the hearts of many spectators. During her presentation phase the
lively mare looked ready to go again, but what many did not see was her
and rider out the back casually mooching around cooling off on a loose
rein, both content in a superb job done.
Another favorite, was the elegant and very handsome stallion Regardez
Moi coming 2nd with 68.05 for rider Heath Ryan, 3rd was Weltklasse 66.63
% …another horse I greatly admire, with his rider Lesley-Anne Taylor,
again coming from a showing background I would not endeavor to comment
on the technicalities of dressage at this level, but a great horse is ‘a
great horse’ and I think any

of to a super start, great weather, beautiful horses and some of the
countries best dressage riders were here for the Festival. Once again
the committee out did themselves by turning on a smoothly run show, they
actual managed to give a face lift to the indoor school to help capture
a event of this magnitude and even at the end of what would have been
super long days for the hard working team they were all still beaming
with enthusiasm to make this the best event! Of course sponsors as
listed opposite also offered their support not just with products and
funds, but by been down to do the presentations, special thanks of
course go to Saddleworld and Winergy for supporting our sports in such a
way that makes this all possible. 
Thursday
we had the Malcom Byrne Master Saddler Int II, it should be noted
tha Malcom goes out of his way to support many events here at Werribee
Park, a lovely guy that makes the most exxquisive top quality gear for
any level, and Livamol a great fed supplement that can be found
in most top preperation stables Australia wide.

we have some fun but before the fun events there was of course the
serious side of dressage, and the standard of horses was impressive. 
horseperson would be more than happy to
have one of these three looking over their stable door, not say the rest
of the final 10 were anything short of not been spectacular. 4th was
Northern Regency with a score of 65.42 % ridden by Renee Pedretti, 5th
Mayfield Pzazz 65.40 % with Kerry Mack, 6th Guy Noir 62.38 % Charlotte
Pedersen, 7th Welfendadel 61.27 % Lesley-Anne Taylor, 8th Holme Grove
Bolero60.98 % Roz Tippett, 9th Timbertop60.50 % Kate Luxmoore, and 10th
