Werribee turned on an absolutely beautiful day and horses, riders, spectators enjoyed the warm sun. There were some outstanding young horses competing at this, the first Young Dressage Horse competition in Victoria this season. This particular competition allows the young horses to see the inside of the indoor arena at Werribee Equestrian Centre in a far less stressful situation than will happen later when they compete in the final. | |

Horses
now need to qualify for the Young Dressage Horse competition at Dressage
with the Stars due to the overwhelming popularity of the event.
Saturday's event was run by International Sporthorse Studbook
Australia. ISSA has been formed as a sporthorse rather than
warmblood registry and accepts registrations from all acceptable
sporthorse breeds. There
is a studbook as well as registry and stringent criteria apply for entry
into that studbook, in whichever category the horse is placed. |

second round Virgina Creed and Deborah McNicol. |
