 The
Pony Dressage Championships 2006 was the best day for everyone that
was lucky enough to attend, such a range of ponies Fjord, Cobs, New
Forests, Australian Ponies, Welsh and Arab and competitors that were
so encouraging and friendly, from senior riders down to the cutest
little pets- those irresistible kids, the whole affair was friendly
with everyone going out of their way to be helpful right through to
the crew behind the scene that made all this possible.

up and were we not a lucky a crew to have the likes of elite
dressage rider and trainer Tristan Tucker judge in Ring 1, Ring 2 -
Kristy Horan, who stepped into the breach at very short notice,
Ring 3 - Oriel Gardiner [Oriel has been involved with these
championships since day one!!] Ring 4 - Kirsty Porter a long term
supporter of this event and Ring 5 - Nicole Viney. [Nicole was
another who stepped into the breach at very late notice]. Then
the last minute call went out on Eques to find people for pencilling
and what a great response and a big thank you from all competitors
to; Jodie Finnigan, Lucy Clyde, Lorraine Bilson, Christine Wilson,
Andrea Mahon, Fiona Fowler, Sharon Van de Zand and Sharon Tipping.
The event indeed would have been in trouble had they not selflessly
volunteered to help make the day the success it was.
and lastly a
very special thankyou to Gary & Chris Hartigen, we are all lucky to
have people with such drive as they do, and their small band of
committee members, Marilyn and Leanne Shelton who catered so
admirably for all over the day, in all the people behind the scenes
that made this day so special.
