Another day and
another example of running a show to be enjoyable, credit again to the
forward thinking of the committee when they started the day at 8am in
order to have the show finish at a reasonable hour of which it did, the
stewards did a great job of keeping the exhibits flowing through while
the judges kept up the pace, finishing around 4pm meant that owners were
able to start the long treks home at such a sociable hour.
Sunday events got
under way starting with the Bonnetts Saddleworld Show Hunters and what
wonderful support was shown for these classes, with some great true to
type hunters on display. The hack champion was the beautiful and bold
Gryffindor owned and ridden by Charlotte Thomson with Entice and Lucy
Forrest as the runner up, the Galloway winner from strong class was
Glowing Report owned by Shannen Graham with Mirinda Kingsway owned by
Tess Hughes as the runner up. Next up was the ponies and the kids let
go…. giving their all, the small pony winner was Cheraton Serendipity
owned by Brooke Graham and runner up was Kerulen Talfryn owned by Naomi
Karutz. The large show hunter pony was Mirinda Regatta owned by Kelli
Probert and runner up was Cheraton Caberat owned by Dylan Dunn.
