Minnett SA Pony of the Year, ne 12.2hh Rider 14 years and under a
super day for the Kolbeach stud with both ponies taking the top placings,
the winner Hollys Spring Show sired by Carmargue Tribute (Imp) out of
Holly of Springtime (imp) this little mare is really hitting her mark
now at 5years of age, she is certainly a very honest and true show pony
easily ridden by children, this was her follow up to last years win of
the title, runner up was young Ashlee Anderson’s Kolbeach Memoir, whom
Ashlee has done all the work herself on. 3rd Kencott Gimme Gold Naomi
Karutz Brook Egel-Eaton, 4th Rosedale Tempo Tess Hughes and 5th
Morinigside Penny Arcade Sami Langridge.
Barastoc SA Pony of the
Year, Over 12.2hh and ne 14hh was Sanlirra Just Gossip ridden by
Margot Haynes and owned by Sue Bulling, a 5year old bay mare sired by
Vale Park Spotlight out of Willowcroft Mahogany, runner up was the
bright forward and with character KB Covers
Willowcroft Stud SA Galloway of the Year, over 14hh and ne 15hh this was a great class of galloways as per the normal. It was Kolbeach Magic time to shine when she was announced the winner owned by the Kolbeach Stud and ridden by Chris Lawrie she really is such a honest mare, runner up needs no introduction, one of the most successful galloways of today Janevelyn Jazzman and Kelly White their swan song as he moves onto a new home. 3rd KB Review Shelley Pollard, 4th Silkwood Shakespeare - Angie Gardiner and 5th Kamilaroi Soloist Marie - Hawkins Marie Hawkins. |

| Ord Minnett SA Show Horse of the Year, Over 15hh well as per the intro it was Flawless and Leanne Donoghue that upted the stakes and put on a performance to collect the title, runner up was Margot Haynes and her 9year old Grazier. 3rd Princes C Lawrie, 4th Simla Road - Sabrina Jaeschke and 5th Willowcroft Composer - Edwina Harrison. | |

| so ends another festival of show of stars in SA… and also the last time for it to be held in the park. Special thanks from the committee go out to all the judges mentioned in this report and to all the volunteers that make this event. The work that goes in prior to any event is a massive undertaking and whilst the SA group is small, this tight knit group work tirelessly to bring this event to what it is today and with many exciting things planned for the future. | |
