VAS Ltd Show Horse Championships 2006

Perfect weather greeted one for this years VAS show, classes were well supported with much interest been in the New Season events, from the ponies through to the hacks - which were very strong in numbers with some lovely fresh faces in the hack ring.

The very elegant LA owned by P Merry and ridden by Francesca Christie was the New Season Hack, the bright bay is a quality horse and so elegant. While Pam Ahern's Hype shaped up and held on to his titles making it 3 in a row for the Open broad sash, he looked and worked a treat, Pam was also Champion Rider in her age group for the 3rd time!

It was a pleasant show even though sometimes confusing as all the rings were kept busy moving through all the preliminary classes to lead up to the big ones for the day. So a great start to the years showing....
