Magritte 780 (imp) Swedish Warmblood

Magritte has unfortunately been living in the shadow of his world famous brother, Björsells Briar 899 who has been competing with Jan Brink, and, amongst his notable successes, has won against Salinero and Anky Van Gruvsen and has scored 88% in World Equestrian Games.

Magritte shares the same sire as Briar, and also commenced his career with Jan Brink where he enjoyed great success in Europe at Grand Prix level.  He was imported to Australia by Emma Youngman in 2000, when he unfortunately suffered an injury that put him out of competition action for a significant period of time.  Australia has never really got to see the magnificence of this stallion. His paces, and in particularly his trot, is of goose bump quality!  He has wonderful piaffe and passage, every bit as great as the famous Briar. Once again, his performance is testament to his wonderful trainability and temperament and we are delighted to have used him in our breeding program.

Magritte has many licensed sons both in Europe and the USA. He was champion at his stallion licensing at Flyinge National Stud in Sweden and scored very highly for temperament and paces. His trot, in particular, is extraordinary, and he has wonderful for piaffe and passage. He is half brother to world champion Briar 899

Falsterbo  Dark chestnut stallion born 1998 16.3 hands

“Any Australian Breeder with a foal on the ground by this stallion should count themselves very lucky indeed” Chris Hector, The Horse Magazine.

Falsterbo is a working stallion standing at Jens Meyer in Germany. He combines the bloodlines of Brentano II on his dam side, and Florestan I on his sire line.  Of course, Brentano is well known as the sire of the wonderful Brentina, who partnered Amercian Debbie McDonald to many wins on the International circuit. Florestan has successful progeny in many of the elite stables through Europe, including Isabelle Werth.  Falsterbo himself is already competing Grand Prix which is testament to his wonderful trainability and talent, the qualities that are first and foremost in our breeding program.  Falsterbo took home a ribbon from his very first Grand Prix test under Jonny Hilberath recently. In the 2006 and 2007 seasons he had won advanced (S) to Inter I dressage classes and also placed in the Burg Pokal. With placings in elementary (L) level show jumping, Falsterbo obviously has a double talent and his offspring are successful in dressage rings as well as on courses. In 2008 two further Falsterbo sons were licensed in Verden, and one of them had been the winner of the Foal Championships in Elmloh in 2006.
